Ms Rachel Braithwaite
Ms Rachel Braithwaite is a clinical psychologist with a master’s degree in Clinical
Psychology and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Rachel is passionate about helping clients overcome internal struggles so that they
can become more satisfied with their life and relationships. She has previously
worked in forensic and private practice settings, and through this has experience in
treating adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and has experience with general emotional and interpersonal problems.
Rachel is also interested in the link and impact of psychological and social
factors on physical symptoms with no medical explanation, and helping clients
understand and overcome these difficulties.
Rachel primarily uses Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) which
is an interactive therapy in which she works collaboratively with you to begin the
process of resolving your problems in a warm, empathic, and encouraging
